The legacy Expansion Blocks widget apps are being deprecated.

We are sorry for the inconvenience. The rise of AI has made it increasingly difficult for us to sustainably operate small, widget-based apps. Rather than keep shipping narrow tools that are easy to duplicate and hard to support well, we are retiring these older apps.

If you still have a legacy Expansion Blocks app installed, please uninstall it from your Shopify admin at your convenience.

Expansion Blocks will continue. We are working on new functionality that is embedded more deeply into the Shopify ecosystem, and we expect to release that work in the near future.

The existing docs remain available as an archive for merchants who are winding down legacy installs.
